Scott Bramble has brought back fun, humor, and adventure to sci-fi literature with The Great Space Race. A combination of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, without the self-loathing and nihilism, Slaughterhouse-Five, but replacing the trauma of the bombing of Dresden with growing up watching 1980’s commercial television, and the nostalgia of Stranger Things without the creepiness. Amazing bit of world building that has me looking forward to the next installment in this series. This book is enjoyable for all ages from 9 to 90 and you will find yourself incorporating “Mind the Flux” into your daily life.
